ULTRA-GREEN & META-EFFICIENT
When we undertake a new development we only build to the highest possible standards. In this case, we have meticulously designed and constructed these Epic Homes to achieve several of today's gold standards of high-performance design and construction. We measure the quality of livability in our developments through several
categories of focused interest, specifically: 1. Energy Efficiency, 2. Water Efficiency, 3. Indoor Occupant Health, 4. Durability, 5. Site Sustainability, 6. Connectivity, and 7) Future-proofing. In order to ensure that we are achieving the highest possible degree in each of these focus areas we apply the most trusted national and global certification rating systems along with employing locally respected third-party verification consultants on site. Epic On French is designed and constructed to the specifications of the following highly sought-after designations:
-
LEED Platinum Certification from the US Green Building Council
-
Energy Star for Homes Certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency
-
WaterSense New Home Certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency
-
Advanced Lighting Certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency
These designations and certifications represent peace of mind. You can rest easy knowing that extra care that has been taken to ensure that your family and friends are enjoying a seriously healthy living environment that is also easy on Mother Earth. For us, they represent excellence in what we do. Our work designing and building the highest quality homes achievable in our industry is a matter of pride for us. To offer nothing but the finest homes on the market is our passion. Modern mountain living is our muse. Epic On French is your opportunity.
INTUITIVE SMART HOME ECOSYSTEMS
Interact with your home on a deeper level! Epic Homes come with an owner-customized, interconnected "smart home ecosystem" of technologies that communicate with each other, designed and implemented by Haven Smart Home Solutions specifically for today's modern, high country lifestyle. To start, the system of multi-zoned Nest Learning Thermostats throughout the homes ascertain information about the homeowners' daily habits and preferences, thereby managing the environment of each distinct space in the home, for example increasing the heat in the living room and kitchen before your arrive home from a chilly day on the slopes. At the same time, these Nests are also communicating with their Nest Protect partners throughout the residence that are keeping close watch over potential indoor environmental hazards such as smoke and carbon monoxide. Now that the interior comfort and safety are being managed, Nest is also interconnected with the Wemo smart-lighting throughout the homes, recognizing when its people arrive home and turning on appropriate lights at the right time for their safety and preferred ambiance.
Nest is also consistently in communication with its friend, the Rachio smart-irrigation system outside so if smoke is detected, Nest Protect tells Rachio to wet down the outdoors to help mitigate fire spread to your community - a feature I’m sure we all wish our neighbors had as well! At the same time, Nest is communicating with the MyQ smart-garage door system and with the IFTTT protocol (If This Then That) which enables pairing of other smart home devices that aren't specifically designed to work together so one can fortify their “home intelligence quotient” (HIQ) as one grows more savvy with their connected-home lifestyle. Finally, Nest is also in communication with Amazon's Alexa, the personal virtual-assistant enabling voice command of your entire smart home system without having to ever touch a device.
Even the Epic Homes' front door locks and doorbells are connected via Weave technology that Google and Nest developed and have integrated into their smart home products. On top of all that interaction and connectivity, even the kitchen faucets are MotionSense hands-free smart faucets and the fireplaces are smart too! The Epic Homes' smart ecosystem are completely interconnected and always in communication, both with each other and with the homeowner.

BRECKENRIDGE | COLORADO | USA
Breckenridge has a rich and colorful history and is the largest National Historic District in the State of Colorado containing more than 350 historic structures. A few notable points of interest in Breckenridge's history...
In the Summer of 1859 gold was discovered along the Blue River and a base camp later to be known as Breckenridge was established becoming home to more than 8,000 miners and merchants who flocked to the area to seek their fortunes.
1859 was also the year that the Gold Pan Saloon was established as a rough-and-ready bar for the miners. Today, the bar is still going strong at 103 N. Main Street in Breckenridge, and is the oldest continuously operated bar West of the Mississippi.
In 1909, mining-era money funds the construction of the stately brick K-12 schoolhouse located at 103 S. Harris Street, complete with an indoor swimming pool and pressed-tin ceilings. Today, that building is the new home of the Breckenridge Community Center and Library.
In 1960, Breckenridge continues as the Summit County seat, but the population dips to 393 and town members fear the area will soon be a ghost town. However, on December 16, 1961 the Breckenridge Ski Area officially opened with one Heron double chairlift and a short T-bar. Almost 17,000 skier visits were recorded that first season, despite the fact that Interstate 70 was still not complete to Summit County.
Today, Breckenridge is home to 8,977 residents (right around the same amount of people who called this mountain town home 155 years ago), and as of 2015 the Breckenridge Ski Resort averages 1.6 million annual visits placing Breckenridge at the #2 most-visited ski resort in America, but we believe there are many reasons that we'd like to share with you why Breckenridge, Colorado is the very Best Ski Town in America!
